 THERE'S SOME HISTORY HERE

The Warriors and Vikings will face off for the third time this season after splitting a pair of matches during the regular season.

On March 1, the Warriors opened their conference home schedule with a thrilling five-set victory over the Vikings at the ECC South Gym. Cinjun Coe led the team with 20 kills and Gabriel Vargas-Featherstone added 15 kills while Joseph Sico dished out 59 assists in the victory.

The Vikings would return the favor on March 27 in Long Beach with a four-set victory. Coe belted out another 15 kills but no other Warriors player reached double digits in the loss.

Both teams shared the Western State Conference Title, losing only to each other.

In addition to this year's history, the last time the Warriors advanced to the CCCAA Semifinals was in 2017 where they swept Long Beach to advance to the CCCAA State Championship Match.

THE OTHER SIDE

The winner of the match between the Warriors and the Vikings will advance to the final and face the winner between No. 1 Orange Coast (22-0) and No. 4 Irvine Valley (14-7). The Warriors played each team this season, falling to OCC in five sets on Feb. 8 and defeating Irvine Valley in four sets on Feb. 22
