Men’s Volleyball Sweeps Past San Diego Miramar

TORRANCE, Calif. – El Camino College took down its fifth straight victory with a dominant 3-0 (25-12, 25-12, 25-13) non-conference win over San Diego Miramar Wednesday night at the ECC South Gym.

Angel Felix led all players with nine kills for the Warriors (7-1). He attacked at a .500 clip (9-1-16), part of an ECC offense that posted a .387 kill percentage on the night. Felix also led the team with three blocks and added three digs in the win.

Emerson Clinton had 18 of the team's 34 assists while Joseph Sico added nine helpers. Ben Crocker finished with seven kills, six digs, two aces and one block while Cameron Steen added seven kills and a match-high five service aces.

For the Jets (1-8), Joe Picone and McKay Walker led the offense with six kills apiece and Skyler Marushige dished out 10 assists with Tyler Lam adding nine helpers in the loss.

The Warriors will return to conference play with a road test Friday night at Santa Barbara. First serve iss et for 6 p.m.
