Men’s Volleyball Sweeps L.A. Trade Tech on Sophomore Night

TORRANCE, Calif. – El Camino College cruised to a 3-0 (25-21, 25-14, 25-7) conference victory over L.A. Trade Tech on Wednesday night at the ECC South Gym.

The Warriors (10-5, 3-2) honored their three sophomores; Max Perez, Justin Navarro, Matthew Donatucci, in the final regular season home match of their careers. The Warriors dominated the match, hitting at a .325 clip while playing 15 players on the night.

Perez led the Warriors with seven kills on 13 swings and Donatucci added five on just seven swings in only one set of action. Benjamin Crocker added six kills on 12 swings without an error and Noah Carroll added five kills and a team high five blocks.

Joseph Sico dished out 18 assists while Noah Riley added six helpers and Paul Viggiano pitched in with three assists.

The Warriors will finish off the 2018 regular season on Friday night on the road against undefeated Long Beach. First serve is set for 6 p.m.
