Davis and Vasquez Advance to Doubles Semifinals at Conference Championships

Connor Davis and Trey Vasquez advanced to the second and final day of the Western State Conference, East Division Championships as they came up victorious in their quarterfinal match Thursday at Cerritos College.

El Camino College's top doubles team drew the number three seed in the tournament and defeated the No. 6 seeded duo of Riley Lizardo and Shawn Ramirez of Mount San Antonio by a score of 8-4.

With the win, Davis and Vasquez advance to Friday and will face the No. 2 seed of Lucas Legrand and Jan Simon from Cerritos, who won their quarterfinal match by a score of 8-0.
