TORRANCE, Calif. - Malcolm Holtzmann-Cisse scored two goals in the first half to lead the El Camino College Warriors men's soccer team in a 2-1 win over Los Angeles City College at home in their regular season finale at home.

The game was a chippy affair marred with 36 total fouls and nine yellow cards issued.  The Warriors (14-2-1, 5-2-1) were the better side despite the total stats being similar.  The Warriors had 17 shots with 10 shots on goal and the Cubs (6-8-5, 2-4-2) had 15 shots with five on goal.

Malcolm Holtzmann-Cisse opened the scoring in the 13th minute.  Richard Andrade took a corner kick on the left side and his ball sailed over the box to Arnett Matsuzaki.  Matsuzaki took a few dribbles before whipping in a cross to Holtzman-Cisse who had an easy header into the goal.

The Warriors made it a 2-0 game a few minutes later.  Mario Carlos had a shot saved by the Cubs keeper but the Warriors kept possession of the ball. Ricardo Martin had a shot that deflected off a defender's foot and Holtzmann-Cisse was able to pounce on the free ball and shot it in a tight angle into the far corner.

The Cubs got one goal back after a free kick from Giovanni Marquez.

Luis Garibay made four saves for the game.

The Warriors head to Cerritos College next Tuesday for their South Coast Conference game of the regular season.  The Falcons wrapped up the South Coast Conference South Division title already so the Warriors and Falcons will be playing for seeding purposes for next week's South Coast Conference Championship tournament.  Kick-off is scheduled for 2:00 PM.
