BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The El Camino College Warriors wrapped up the non-conference part of their schedule with a 1-0 win at Bakersfield College on Tuesday afternoon.

The No.7 ranked Warriors head into South Coast Conference play with a 7-0-1 record.  They are on a 6-game win streak with the last three victories coming on the road. They are undefeated through the first seven weeks of the season. The Renegades fall to 5-5-1 for the season.

Eduardo Grados scored the game winning goal for the Warriors in the 81st minute.  His third goal of the season and his second game winning goal.  Oliver Diaz passed the ball from outside the left of the 18-yard box to Grados.  Grados dribbled to the outside middle of the 18-yard box and hit a right foot blast past the diving keeper into the bottom corner of the net.

The Warriors dominated possession and play against the Renegades for most of the game.

Luis Garibay started in net for the Warriors.  He was credited with two saves. Garibay and the stout defense picked up their second clean sheet in a row and sixth of the season.

The Warriors will open up conference play next Tuesday at LA Harbor College.  Kick-off is scheduled for 2:00 PM.
