RANCHO MIRAGE, Calif. - The Warriors had a 5th place finish as they travelled to the Desert Island CC for a Pacific Coast Athletic Conference event hosted my College of the Desert. Scoring a team total of 407, the Warriors ended just two shots away from their nearest opponent. The host school took 1st place out of the five PCAC schools in attendance.

"It was a disappointing result, especially since we have been playing much better as of late," shared assistant coach Christopher Chin.

Sophomore Theodore Giapapas had a good day out on the green, hitting a 76 while teammate sophomore Michael Ozawa was two shots behind him (78). Sophomore Greg White shot 80 with freshman Ryan Omoto also close on his heels, shooting 82. Sophomore Jerred Gallardo ended the day with 91 while freshman Steven Oshiro came in at 101.

"We have a match at Sycuan on Wednesday and that's a place we have had success in the past so hopefully we get back on track there," finished Coach Chin.

The Warriors travel to Sycuan Golf Course as Cuyamaca hosts the next PCAC event on April 12th.
