GOING BOWLING

The Warriors' bowl selection marks the 27th year in the history of the Warriors football program that the team has been selected to play in either a bowl game or qualified for the state football playoffs. Counting playoff years (2018, 2011, 2006-08, 1971, 1968) the Warriors have amassed a 19-15 overall record in bowl games and postseason contests.

IT'S BEEN AWHILE

From 1947 until 1968, the Warriors and Huskies met every year as members of the Metropolitan Conference. But the teams have met just five times in the last 53 years with the last matchup coming in the 2000 CHiPS for Kids Bowl held at ELAC; a game the Warriors won handily, 44-19.

Overall, the Warriors hold a 19-7 overall record against the Huskies and have a four-game winning streak from Nov. 6, 1976 through Dec. 2, 2000. Their last loss to ELAC came on Nov. 8, 1975.
