Ferrel Repeats As Special Teams/All-Purpose Player of the Week

SCFA National Division Players Of The Week - Week 3

Sophomore Robert Ferrel was named as the Southern California Football Association National Division Special Teams/All-Purpose Player of the Week for the second week in a row, it was announced Tuesday

Ferrel played a big role in setting up the Warriors with great field position early in the first half.  He returned punts deep into LA Harbor territory twice and scored one touchdown.  

The sophomore had four punt returns for 201 yards. With his biggest return happening with 5:56 left in the first quarter.  LA Harbor punted 40 yards from the El Camino 48-yard line and Ferrel took it to the house from 92 yards out down the right sidelines to score a punt return in consecutive games.  Ferrel averaged 50.3 yards per punt return on four attempts.  

Ferrel also recorded two receptions for 31 yards and one touchdown for the game. 

The Warriors will return to action on Saturday at Murdock Stadium vs Orange Coast College. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.
