TORRANCE, Calif. -  Sophomore Aaron Orozco capped off his big week for the Warriors by throwing a complete game, one-hitter shutout in a 1-0 win against Cerritos in the series finale on Saturday afternoon.

The Warriors (11-6, 5-1) completed a three-game sweep of Cerritos (10-7, 3-3).  The Warriors won the first game 10-5 at home, the second game, 11-10 at Cerritos, and the final game, 1-0 at home.

After 36 combined runs and 53 combined hits in the previous game, Saturday's finale was the exact opposite and a great pitcher's duel between both teams.

Aaron Orozco had a big week offensively going into the series finale.  Orozco batted 5-for-10 with one home run, three runs, and 5 RBIs heading into Saturday.  Orozco scored the only run in Saturday's game and picked up one of the five Warrior hits for the day.

On the mound, Orozco twirled a complete game one-hitter with two strikeouts.  He wasn't perfect on the mound as he allowed three walks and hit three batters, but he was able to pitch out of trouble each time.  The furthest Cerritos was able to advance a runner was to second base.

Andrew Arguello suffered the loss despite a complete game effort from the southpaw himself.  Arguello tossed 8 innings and allowed one run on five hits, one walk, and struck out five batters.

The Warriors scored the only run of the game in the second inning.  Orozco led the inning off with a double to left field. Chase Cosner advanced him to third on a base hit and Juan Carlos Camarena hit a sac fly to right field to bring in the only run of the ballgame.

Diego Alarcon was the only Warrior with a multi-hit day as he was 2-for-3 from the dish.

The Falcons got their only hit of the game in the fifth inning when Daniel Mariscal Jr singled to left field with one out.

The Warriors will next compete in a three-game set with LA Harbor.  The first game of the series is set for Tuesday, March 3rd at LA Harbor.  First pitch is scheduled for 2:00 PM.
