Galicia, Orozco named CCCBCA Preseason All-Americans

TORRANCE, Calif. - It was revealed this week that the El Camino pair of sophomore pitchers Jimmy Galicia and Aaron Orozco have been named 2019/20 California Community College Baseball Coaches Association preseason All-Americans.

The pair of pitchers were part of a dominant El Camino pitching staff last season that fell one game short of the State Title in Fresno.  

Jimmy Galicia was second in the state last season with a 13-3 record and one save.  Galicia had a miniscule 1.92 ERA in 122 innings pitched. He fanned 83 batters and allowed just 28 walks.

Aaron Orozco was tied for third in the state with a 12-1 record. As a RS freshman, Orozco had a 2.10 ERA in 111.2 innings pitched. Orozco was also third in the state with 114 strikeouts.  Orozco also served as the DH and slashed .318/.371/.427. Orozco was tied for third in hits with 50, score 30 runs, recorded 36 RBIs, and swatted two home runs

The Warriors are currently in fall practice as they look to build up the squad for their upcoming 2020 season.
