The Warriors Come Back To Beat Mt. San Jacinto in the 6th inning, 15-6

SAN JACINTO, Calif. – The Warriors faced Mt. San Jacinto away Wednesday afternoon, beating the Eagles 15-6. Cassius Hamm threw five innings helping the Warriors win the game.

The Warriors started the game slow, until the 5th inning until Angel Mora double to right center, batting in two runs. Cody Wissler then singled to center field, adding in another run for the Warriors. 

In the 6th inning, the Warriors took the lead, 8-6 off a single from Ty Conrad that drove in two runs.  Noah Barba hit a single that drove in another run. The Warriors were up 8-6 at the end of the 6th.

The Warriors were strong offensively in the 7th inning. Conrad singled to left field advancing a run. Brady Dorn then tripled to left field, in which the Warriors scored two more runs. The Warriors were up 11-6 at the end of the 7th.

The Warriors continued to show consistency in the 8th inning when Conrad singled, batting in a run. Dorn then singled to center batting in two more runs. The Warriors ended the game 15-6.

Sophomore pitcher, Cassius Hamm threw 5 innings for the win. Angel Mora went 3 for 5, with 3 RBI. Ty Conrad went 3 for 4, with 4 RBI.

Head Coach Nathan Fernley commented, "It wasn't our best played game, but the guys battled back from some early errors and really put together some good at bats." 

The Warriors (3-0) play Southwestern (2-1) tomorrow at home at 2:00 pm.
