Bio

Jason Akasaki was hired as a Sports Information Assistant at El Camino College in August, 2017. He is responsible for updating stats and website content for ECCWarriors.com and helping maintain the social media feeds for the various athletic teams.

Jason Akasaki began his career in College Athletics during his time as a sports management graduate student at Cal State University, Long Beach. He interned with Cal State Fullerton Athletics where he received valuable experience in watching how the various athletic programs were handled by the Sports Media Staff. He still assists with Cal State Fullerton Athletics today in soccer and in baseball.  

Jason graduated with a bachelor degree in Political Science from Cal State Fullerton in 2012. He received his master's degree in Sports Management from Cal State University, Long Beach in 2015.
