El Camino College is proud to have the support of four athletic counselors to ensure that our student-athletes are meeting degree requirements and assisting in developing their education plans. In addition, Athletic Counselors are available to assist in choosing a major that will lead to a successful transfer or developing a skill and ultimately a satisfying career and lifestyle.
The Student Athlete (SA) Counselors are available to assist current and former student athletes by:
Informing you with athletic eligibility- CCCAA, NCAA, and NAIA.
Helping you develop an education plan
Providing you with guidance on what classes you need to transfer or graduate
Informing you of special programs and resources on campus
Helping you find balance between your academic, athletic, and personal lives
The SA Counselors also offer Drop-In Counseling to current and former student athletes. Drop-In counseling is on a first come, first served basis and is based on counselor availability.
