Athletic Counseling

El Camino College is proud to have the support of four athletic counselors to ensure that our student-athletes are meeting degree requirements and assisting in developing their education plans. In addition, Athletic Counselors are available to assist in choosing a major that will lead to a successful transfer or developing a skill and ultimately a satisfying career and lifestyle.

The Student Athlete (SA) Counselors are available to assist current and former student athletes by:

  • Informing you with athletic eligibility- CCCAA, NCAA, and NAIA.

  • Helping you develop an education plan

  • Providing you with guidance on what classes you need to transfer or graduate

  • Informing you of special programs and resources on campus

  • Helping you find balance between your academic, athletic, and personal lives

The SA Counselors also offer Drop-In Counseling to current and former student athletes. Drop-In counseling is on a first come, first served basis and is based on counselor availability.
