Women’s Water Polo Drops Home Finale against Mounties

TORRANCE, Calif. --- El Camino College dropped a 12-2 South Coast Conference decision to Mount San Antonio on Wednesday afternoon at the ECC Aquatics Center.

The Warriors managed just two goals against the Mounties in ECC's final home match of the season. Yani Camarador scored both goals for the Warriors with Brooke Baudendistel and Polina Paumier each recording an assist in the loss.

Melissa Cedarholm played the final three quarters in the cage for the Warriors and made 12 saves.

The Warriors fell behind 5-0 in the first quarter and never recovered. Camarador finally broke the shutout with 16 seconds left in the first half to make it a 6-1 deficit going to the break.

The Warriors will now take a break until Nov. 2 when they head to the South Coast Conference Championships hosted by Long Beach City College.
