Women’s Water Polo Fall to Long Beach at Conference Tournament

Sonni Garcia provided the only offense of the day for ECC in a 21-2 loss to Long Beach in the opening round of the South Coast Conference Tournament on Friday afternoon at Cerritos College.

Garcia scored two goals for the Warriors but ECC fell in a 9-0 hole after one period and never recovered. Garcia also led the team with three steals on the day.

The Warriors will wrap up the tournament on Saturday at Cerritos College.
