Garcia Nets Three Goals in Loss to Chaffey

TORRANCE, Calif. – Sonni Garcia had three goals but El Camino College dropped its 11th straight match with a 17-4 South Coast Conference loss to Chaffey Monday afternoon at the ECC Pool.
The Warriors (1-11, 1-4) fell in a deep hole early as the Panthers (5-5, 4-1) scored the first six goals of the match. Garcia finally broke the streak with a power-play goal to put the Warriors on the board.
All four of the Warriors' goals were scored on the power play on Monday afternoon. Ysabella Estrella netted the other goal for ECC in the loss.
Isabelle Suter led the way for Chaffey with six goals while Breana Vander Broek added five for the visiting Panthers.
The Warriors will return to action on Wednesday afternoon as they host East Los Angeles at the ECC Pool. The match is set to begin at 3 p.m.
