TORRANCE, Calif. – El Camino College kept it close but in the end could not come out on the winning end, falling to L.A. Valley 10-8 Friday afternoon at the ECC Pool.
The Warriors got solid performances out of Ilene Guerrero and Andrea Canchola, who each found the back of the net three times. Canchola also had two assists while Guerrero had one. Samantha Beattie and Sabrina Byrne rounded out the scoring for ECC while Amber Sauer led the team with four assists.
In net, Taylor Baird drew the start and made seven saves in a losing effort.
The Warriors return to action on Wednesday when they travel to Long Beach for a South Coast Conference affair.
