No. 9 El Camino College suffered its second straight defeat on Friday night, falling to No. 15 MiraCosta 3-0 (25-20, 25-23, 25-21) in non-conference matchup.
The Warriors (11-4) were led by Aiko Waters as she notched another double-double with 13 kills and 13 digs along with four aces. Jaylin Motley added 13 kills of her own to go along with eight digs and three blocks while Phina Leilua had six kills on the night.
Renee Brydon had five kills and three blocks while Sarah Dyer (18) and Keily Morimoto (16) combined for 34 assists in the loss.
The Warriors will stay on the road for their next match on Wednesday night when they head to L.A. Harbor for an SCC-South Division match. First serve is set for 6 p.m.
