Warriors Open Conference Home Slate with Sweep of LA Trade Tech

Torrance, Calif. - Freshman Jaylin Motley recorded her first career double-double with a match-high 10 kills and a team-high 11 digs in the Warriors' sweep of LA Trade Tech on Wednesday evening.

Set scores were 25-14, 25-14, 25-12. El Camino College improves to 11-3 on the season and stays a perfect 3-0 in conference play, while the Beavers drop to 1-7, 0-3.

Sophomore outside hitter Tessy Beth Iwuh added seven kills, while sophomore libero Michelle Shimamoto posted 10 digs. Freshman Megan Lim directed the offense for the night, tallying 33 assists on the team's 38 kills.

The Warriors continue their homestand on Friday, Oct. 7, hosting South Coast Conference rival, Long Beach, at 6 p.m. in the South Gym. Live video is also available for the match.
