Warriors Come From Behind to Take Conference Opener over Cerritos

Norwalk, Calif. - Sophomore Taylor Brydon earned a match-high 20 kills to lead the Warriors (9-3) to a come-from-behind five-set win over Cerritos (5-6, 0-1) in the team's conference opener on Friday.

Set scores were 20-25, 20-25, 25-16, 25-10, 15-4. 

Brydon hit .326 with six digs and four blocks, while freshman Aiko Waters recorded a double-double with 14 kills and a team-high 18 digs, adding six blocks. 

Sophomore Nina Wyer earned 48 assists on the team's 67 kills, while adding 15 digs. And sophomore Victoria Curtice led all blockers with seven total in the match.

The women's volleyball team stays on the road, heading to LA Harbor next on Friday, Sept. 30 at 6 p.m.
