Women's Tennis Falls Short To Cypress

TORRANCE, Calif. – Women's tennis (0-7) faced Cypress on Wednesday afternoon, falling short to the Chargers 3-6.

In doubles, Simpson/Kingham dominated over Cypress, 8-2. Hoshiko/Mejia kept the momentum going winning their match 8-5. The Warriors forfeited their final doubles match from being shorthanded.

In singles, Violet Simpson continued her streak defeating Andrea Velasco 6-3, 6-1. Stephanie Kingham fell to Tiana Cung 6-3, 6-1. Natsuki Hoshiko fell to Alyanna Soriano 6-2, 6-1. Sandy Mejia fell to Kristen Ojeda 6-0, 6-0. The Warriors forfeited their two final singles matches as well.

The Warriors travel to Santa Monica Thursday at 1:30pm.
