Liu Takes Top Spot in Conference in the Women's 3 Meter Diving Competition

TORRANCE, Calif. - Jean Liu finished the second day of the diving championships to earn the number one spot in conference while taking a 7th place finish in Southern California for the women's 3 meter competition. Liu qualifies to proceed to state in the 3 meter and will compete in the 1 meter due to her second alternate position (10th).

Fellow teammate Andrea Orozco ended the 1 meter 4th in conference and went on to finish the 3 meter 4th in conference as well. Clare Siverts competed in the 1 meter and placed 9th in conference.

The SCC Championships for the swimming and diving team will take place at East Los Angeles College for a three-day event set to begin on April 20th. State Championships will then take place at East Los Angeles beginning May 4th.
