NORWALK, Calif. --- Sophomore Allison Sibley provided the offense as El Camino College downed Cerritos, 3-1, in a South Coast Conference tilt on Friday afternoon at Cerritos College.

Sibley netted her third hat trick of the season, scoring three unanswered goals to erase an early deficit and carry the Warriors to the win. She now has 15 goals on the season to lead the team and ranks fourth in the state.

The Warriors (5-3-1, 1-1-0) snapped a four-match winless streak (0-3-1) during which they scored just one goal.

McKenna Morey picked up the victory in net while Sibley, Ashley Ruiz, Ruby Colcol and Claire Mahon all tied for the team lead with four shots apiece. Colcol and Sibley led the way with three shots on target.

As a team, the Warriors peppered the Falcons' goal as they launched 18 total shots and 14 on target against Falcons keeper Victoria Ruiz, who made 11 saves in a losing cause.

The Falcons took a quick 1-0 lead in the 13th minute as Jaque Adame lined a free-kick into the upper corner of the far post past Morey.

It stayed that way until Sibley finally broke the Warriors' 336-minute scoring drought as she capitalized on a Cerritos turnover in its own zone and she deposited a shot to the inside post past Ruiz to tie things up.

Sibley would score the eventual game-winner in the 81st minute and completed her natural hat trick in the 85th minute for some insurance on the win.

The Warriors will now return home for the first time in nearly a month as they host Rio Hondo on Tuesday afternoon at the ECC Soccer Field. It will be the team's first home game since Sept. 12 when they scored a 1-0 win over Moorpark and a place where the team is undefeated (4-0-0) on the season. Kickoff is set for 4 p.m.
