Bernardino Hat Trick Gives Warriors First Win of the Season

SAN DIEGO, Calif. - The El Camino College women's soccer team won their first game of the season in a 7-0 rout of San Diego Miramar College on the road.  

The Warriors didn't score in the first three games of the season and haven't scored since the 54th minute of the final game of the 2018 season.  

The Warriors tallied 23 shots for the game.  Monica Bernardino led the team with a hat-trick and also tallied one assist.  Melisia Medina scored two goals. Alexandria Katsouridis scored one goal. Anahi Rodriguz scored one goal and tallied one assist.  Ashley Herm and Mariana Garcia both had three assists on the day.  

Kelly Gallagher picked up her first win of the season and had four saves for the game.  

The Warriors continue their road slate with an away game at Moorpark on Friday, September 13th at 2:00 PM.
