TORRANCE, Calif. - El Camino College (2-6-1, 0-2-0) dropped its conference home opener 2-0 vs the Cerritos College Falcons (6-1-1, 1-0-0) on Friday afternoon at Murdock Stadium.

The Falcons dominated the stat line on offense against the Warriors.  They outshot ECC 22-3 with 10 shots on target.  The Falcons also earned 5 corner kicks while the Warrior did not attempt any.

Mia Ramirez opened the scoring for the Falcons in the second minute of the game when she dribbled through the Warrior defense and slotted the ball past Isabel Rojas into the net.

Ramirez would later add a second goal to her tally in the 59th minute when she ripped a shot from the corner of the penalty box into the far post upper-90 of Rojas' net.
