SAN JACINTO, Calif. – Robin Riggs scored in her 2017 debut for El Camino College but it was not enough as the Warriors fell to Mount San Jacinto 4-1 Tuesday afternoon in a non-conference contest.
Riggs netted her first goal of the season 15 minutes into the second half, cutting a two-goal deficit in half. Unfortunately for the Warriors, it would prove to be their only tally of the match.
Kelly Gallagher started in net and made five saves in the first 45 minutes before giving way to Isabel Rojas in the second half, who made seven saves in the second half.
The Warriors return home on Friday afternoon as they host Mira Costa at Murdock Stadium. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.
