Kayla Sanchez, Kalyn Kaemerle, and Sarina Ferlazzo Receive All Conference First Team Honors

TORRANCE, Calif. - Three athletes from the Women's Soccer team have been placed on the All Conference lists. Receiving recognition for their hard work are Kayla Sanchez, Kalyn Kaemerle, and Sarina Ferlazzo.

Sanchez is a sophomore forward who received All Southern California Team, Sophomore Bowl Representative and All Conference First Team. A Torrance, Calif. native, Sanchez started in nine of her 10 appearances for the Warriors. She recorded six goals on the season, one of which was the game winning goal against the Warriors' 2-1 defeat over LA Harbor in October. Sanchez also entered two assists on the season.

From the midfield, Kaemerle is another sophomore from Torrance, Calif. who earned All Conference First Team due to her eight goals. She started in all of her 11 appearances for the Warriors and also made the game winning goal against Oxnard (2-0).

Sophomore Ferlazzo also made the All Conference First Team. The midfielder from Redondo Beach, Calif. started 11 of her 13 appearances for the Warriors, logging three goals and three assists. Two of her goals contributed the Warriors 9-0 sweep over EC-Compton Center on September 27th.

The Warriors ended the 2016 season with an overall record of 11-6-4 and 4-2-2 in conference, recording two shutouts.
