TORRANCE, Calif. --- El Camino College suffered an 85-37 non-conference loss to Irvine Valley on Tuesday night at the ECC Gym Complex.
The Warriors kept it close in the first quarter, trailing by just four points after the opening 10 minutes.
But the Lasers outscored ECC 67-23 in the final three quarters to cruise to victory.
Emily Freeman led all scorers with 20 points to lead the Lasers and Aryana Cortes added 14 in 18 minutes off the bench.
For the Warriors, Teena Ponce led the way with 12 points and Harmony Warren added eight. Imani Taitt-Gibbs grabbed a game-high 12 rebounds in the loss.
The Warriors will return to action on Dec. 1 when they travel to the Lady Charger Classic hosted by Cypress College.
