Warriors Drop Fifth Straight Game

TORRANCE, Calif. --- El Camino College dropped a 69-44 non-conference contest to visiting Pasadena on Wednesday night at the ECC Gym Complex.

The Warriors (4-13) dropped their fifth consecutive game as the Lancers (11-8) took control of the game in the final three quarters.

Things started off well for ECC as they ended the first quarter on an 11-3 scoring run to take a 17-16 lead after one quarter.

But everything went downhill after the first as the Warriors were outscored 53-27 in the final three quarters to fall for the fifth straight time.

Imani Taitt-Gibbs led the Warriors with 16 points and 14 rebounds with Brandy Castaneda adding 12 points and 12 boards.

For the Lancers, Tena Ikidi led the way with 23 points and 16 rebounds with Maiya Villanueva adding 19 points.

The Warriors will return to action on Friday evening with a non-conference matchup against East Los Angeles.
