TORRANCE, Calif. --- El Camino College dropped a 66-48 South Coast Conference, South Division decision to Cerritos on Wednesday night at the ECC Gym Complex.
The Warriors (10-14, 4-5) shot just 30.8 percent from the field and committed 22 turnovers in the loss to the Falcons (17-8, 7-1), who sit atop the division standings this season.
Jaden Sanderson led the Warriors with 17 points and grabbed seven rebounds with three assists. Brandy Castaneda added 11 points and led the team with four assists in the loss.
Ilani Avila led the Falcons with 27 points in 31 minutes off the bench. Precious added 12 points for the victorious Falcons.
The Warriors will head to L.A. Southwest on Friday night with tipoff set for 7 p.m.
