TORRANCE, Calif. – Freshman Taylor Hart notched her second double-double of the season but it was not enough as El Camino College dropped a South Coast Conference, South Division matchup to L.A. Harbor, 56-52, at the ECC Gym Complex.
Hart finished with 14 points and 11 rebounds while adding four assists and three steals but the Seahawks (13-12, 4-3) outscored the Warriors (10-14, 5-2) 14-11 in the final quarter to score the victory.
Ashley Nguyen added 13 points and six assists for the Warriors and Alexia Mason had 10 points and seven rebounds in a losing effort.
Brion Turner led all scorers with 19 points and grabbed 10 rebounds while Rohyn Huss had 15 points off the bench to lead the Seahawks.
The Warriors return to action Friday night on the road against Cerritos. Tipoff is set for 5 p.m.
