Bibb, Noa and Nyingifa Headed to Next Level

Kayla Bibb, Hunter Noa and Amiete Nyingifa will move on to the four-year level to continue their academic and athletic careers.

The three sophomores helped the women's basketball team secure its second straight South Coast Conference, South Division title and advance to the California Community College Women's Basketball Southern California Regional Final.

Overall, the Warriors finished the year with a 21-7 overall record and perfect 8-0 mark in conference.

Kayla Bibb | CSU San Bernardino

In her two-year career with the Warriors, Bibb played in 51 games, making 47 starts including starting in all 28 games this season. She averaged 14.5 points and 8.5 rebounds per game along with 1.5 steals and 1.2 blocks a game. She shot 51.4 percent from the field and 66 percent from the free throw line. Her sophomore season was one for the ages as she earned SCC, South Player of the Year honors along with CCCAA All-State First Team Honors and All-State Academic Team nods.

Hunter Noa | Trinity International University

The guard played in all 28 games for the Warriors as a sophomore, making 27 starts. She earned her second straight selection to the SCC-South All-Conference Team as she was named to the first team in 2018. She averaged 8.7 points per game and 10 ppg in conference play. She shot 34.3 percent from 3-point range and 88.3 percent from the free-throw line. Noa played in 53 games at ECC during her two seasons and averaged 7.6 points per game and shot 34.9 percent from 3-point range.

Amiete Nyingifa | Humboldt State University

Nyingifa wrapped up her Warriors career in 2018 with a second-straight selection to the SCC-South All-Conference Second Team. She averaged 10.5 points per game and grabbed 8.3 rebounds a contest in her sophomore season. Overall, she played in 49 games during her two years at ECC and averaged 9.0 points and 6.3 rebounds per game
