Warriors Net Four Players on 2017-18 Academic All-State Team

2017-18 Academic All-State Team

El Camino College had four players named to the California Community College Women's Basketball Coaches Association 2017-18 Academic All-State Team, it was announced recently.

Kayla Bibb, Amiete Nyingifa, Megan Peneueta and Kasey Takahashi were each recognized for the stellar accomplishments on the court and in the classroom. All four will be honored at the Banquet of Champions in Oxnard, Calif. on March 7.

Each one of the Warriors honorees was nominated by a counselor and coach at El Camino College for the award and participated in at least one season of play while compliling a grade point average of 3.50 or better.

Bibb and Nyingifa are currently wrapping up their sophomore campaigns this season while Peneueta and Takahashi were a part of last year's South Coast Conference, South Division Co-Champions.
