All-Around Team Effort Leads Warriors Past L.A. Harbor

All 10 El Camino College players scored as the Warriors cruised past L.A. Harbor, 71-35, Wednesday night in a South Coast Conference, South Division tilt.

Kayla Bibb and Nao Shiota led the way for the Warriors with 12 points apiece. Bibb notched another double-double with 11 rebounds while Shiota dished out three assists and was 4-for-8 from 3-point range.

Jordan Hixon added nine points and 12 rebounds with three assists and two steals while Brenna Wilson poured in 10 points and grabbed four rebounds.

The game was close after one quarter with the Warriors nursing a 14-12 lead. But ECC turned up the offense, outscoring the Seahawks 16-5 in the second quarter to take a double-digit lead into the break and then put together a 28-6 third quarter to put the game completely out of reach. Shiota drained all three of her 3-pointers in the third period and Bibb added six points and six boards in the third to help the Warriors pull away.

The Warriors remain undefeated in conference play and will head to Cerritos on Friday night for the second half of their conference slate. Tipoff is set for 5 p.m.
