Despite the final score, the Vaqueros were within striking distance in the second half, cutting the Warriors double-digit halftime lead to just four at 46-42 with 3:23 left in the third quarter. From that point on, the Warriors would outscore Glendale 32-6. They allowed just two field goals the rest of the way and none in the final 10:33 of action.

The Warriors led the game wire-to-wire, leading for all but 33 seconds in the game. They recorded 12 steals on the night including four from Kayla Bibb and dished out 14 assists on 29 made field goals.

The team will return to action on Friday night as they hit the road to face East Los Angeles College in a South Coast Conference Inter-Division matchup. Tipoff for that game is set for 6 p.m.
