Badminton’s Win Streak Snapped by Pasadena

TORRANCE, Calif. – El Camino College's four-match winning streak came to an end Wednesday afternoon in a 19-2 South Coast Conference loss to Pasadena City College at the ECC North Gym.

Despite falling to the undefeated Lancers, the Warriors did put an end to Pasadena's unbeaten streak in games played this season. Coming into Wednesday, the Lancers were 84-0 in games played in conference and had beaten every opponent 21-0. Maddy Simones and Kalyn Kaemerle recorded singles victories for the Warriors to avoid the shutout.

The Warriors will return to action on April 18 as they face Compton College on the road.
