Track and Field Qualifies a Number of Athletes for CCCAA SoCal Finals

MOORPARK, Calif. --- The El Camino College Track and Field team will send a number of athletes to the CCCAA Southern California Finals after participating in the preliminaries on May 6 at Moorpark College.
The following athletes qualified for the CCCAA SoCal Finals, which will be held on May 13 at Moorpark College.
WOMEN
200m: Sierra Stokes (24.80)
400m: Sierra Stokes (58.49)
100H: Yukina Hamachi (15.41)
Pole Vault: Mia Hasenmayer (2.70 meters)
Long Jump: Yukina Hamachi (5.29 meters)
MEN
200m: Jaylen Allen (21.84)
400m: Matt Irvine (48.90)
110HH: Dominic Britton (14.52)
400H: Kyvontei Campbell (55.82)
4x100m Relay: Xerxes Reamer, Jaylen Allen, Matthew Irvine, Kyvontei Campbell (41.94)
Triple Jump: Anthony Brooks (13.20 meters)
Along with the qualifiers, a few events had their finals take place on Friday at Moorpark. Makayla Nored finished fifth in the shot put with a mark of 9.49 meters and seventh in the hammer throw with a distance of 31.74 meters.
