Men Finish Second, Women Fourth at Saddleback Invitational

MISSION VIEJO, Calif. --- El Camino College posted a third-place overall finish at the Saddleback Invitational on Friday at Saddleback College.

The men's team recorded a second-place finish on the day while the women finished fourth.

On the men's side, Dominic Britton was the highlight as he won two events. He took first place in the 110m hurdles with a time of 15.01, more than eight tenths of a second better than runner-up Dylan Coleman of Cuyamaca.

Britton also tied for first with a mark of 1.85m (6 feet, 0.75 inches).

Other winners on the men's side included Jaylen Allen in the 200m with a time of 21.88 and Kyvontei Campbell in the 400m hurdles with a time of 55.74.

On the women's side, Sierra Stokes scored a victory in the 200m with a time of 25.21. Yukina Hamachi also scored a win in the 100m hurdles with a time of 15.48.

The Warriors will return to action on April 5 at the Southern California Regional Combined Events Championships at ECC.
