Swimming and Diving Splits Dual Meet at Chaffey

The El Camino College men's and women's swim teams each scored victories over Chaffey while falling to Mount San Antonio in a conference dual meet held Friday at Chaffey College.

The Warriors men defeated Chaffey 181-95 while the women scored a 158-81 win over Chaffey. The Warriors fell to Mt. SAC 181-99 on the men's side and 180-88 on the women's.

Cindy Ngo and Aziz Jaouhar led the charge for the Warriors with multiple wins on the day. Ngo scored her first win in the 50 freestyle with a time of 25.56. She followed up with a win in the 200 IM with a mark of 2:23.73.

Jaouhar won the 100 backstroke with a time of 55.31 and also took home the 50 freestyle victory with a time of 22.98.

Other highlights for the Warriors included wins for Clare Siverts (100 breaststroke, 1:17.08), Wyatt Kircher (500 freestyle, 4:58.79) and Jean Liu (Diving, 210.45).

The Warriors will take part in the Pasadena Invitational beginning on Thursday.
