Sarro held the Lancers off the scoreboard, until the Lancers broke through in the top of the 6th, scoring three runs.

In the bottom of the 7th, the Warriors answered back. With runners in scoring position, Rae Camez singled brining in the first run. Machado walked, loading the bases and with the bases loaded, Alyssa Wing hit a base hit bringing in two more runs and tying the game. Julianne Adamos continued the rally with a base hit scoring the fourth run for the Warriors.

Coach Jessica Rapoza commented, "I thought we did a good job late in the game of controlling the temp. I felt we were a bit rushed offensively early on, but when we settled into our tempo, things started to go our way."
