Bio

Noah Rubke enters his sixth season as the head coach of the Warriors men's water polo team in 2023.

The Warriors went 15-16 overall in 2022 with a 2-6 record in conference play. The team would advance to the South Coast Conference Tournament semifinals, where it lost to Long Beach and then finished the tournament in fourth place after falling to Mt. San Antonio in the third-place match.

In 2021, the Warriors had a rough season in the return from the COVID-19 Pandemic, going 5-22 overall with a 1-6 record in conference. They'd finish sixth at the SCC Tournament.

The 2020 campaign was cancelled due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Rubke's third year at the helm was a historic one as the Warriors went 20-11 overall with a 3-5 conference record. They'd finish fourth in the SCC Tournament but would also secure the program's first playoff berth since 1993. The team would take on Orange Coast in the first round of the CCCAA SoCal Regionals where their season came to an end. For his efforts, Rubke was named the 2019 SCC Co-Coach of the Year.

In his second year at the helm in 2018, Rubke led the Warriors to an 11-17 overall record with a 1-6 mark in South Coast Conference play. He had four players named to the All-South Coast Conference Team including one first team selection.

Rubke took over as the head coach of Warriors men's water polo in 2018 after serving as the assistant coach for the swim and water polo teams for El Camino College for four years. In his first year running the men's water polo team as the assistant in 2017, the Warriors finished with their best season since 1993, sporting a 14-9 record and a third place finish at the South Coast Conference Championships. He had four players named All-SCC including two first teamers.

Rubke is also in his fifth year as the assistant coach for the girls' water polo team at Redondo Union High School in 2019. In the 2016-2017 season Coach Rubke helped lead the Sea Hawks to a Bay League championship and a CIF Division 3 championship, both firsts in program history.

Rubke is an alumnus of Redondo Union and El Camino College and was a part of the water polo and swim teams for both schools.

In 2014, Rubke earned his B.S. in Sport Psychology and Leadership, and in 2017 earned his M.A. in Coaching and Student Athlete Development, both from Cal State Long Beach.
