TORRANCE, Calif. --- Freshman Marc Bugarin led an El Camino College offense that was firing on all cylinders on Wednesday in a 16-4 South Coast Conference victory over Chaffey at the ECC Aquatics Center.

Bugarin scored five times and added a pair of assists to lead a Warriors (7-8, 1-1) offense that had nine different players score a goal. Jonas Nygren added three goals on four shots and Brayden Sanchez scored twice while Tyler Reed led all players with four assists. Scott Fujiwara and Heitor Trefilio both had a goal and three assists in the win.

Four players played in the cage for the Warriors and combined for six saves. Reed played the fourth quarter and had the most work, making four of those saves.

For the Panthers, Elijah Bell made seven saves as four different players scored in the loss.

The Warriors jumped on Chaffey early, scoring five unanswered goals in the first quarter to take a commanding lead. Through three quarters they would hold a 15-2 lead and the result was never in doubt.

Wednesday's victory was the third straight win for the Warriors and they will be right back in the pool on Thursday as they welcome San Joaquin Delta to the ECC Aquatics Center for a 3:30 p.m. start.
