Allyn, Bellingham and Ruth Named All-Conference

2021 All-SCC Men's Water Polo Team

TORRANCE, Calif. --- Sophomore Cole Allyn and freshmen Gary Bellingham and Parris Ruth were all named to the 2021 All-South Coast Conference Team.

Allyn earned an All-SCC First Team selection after leading the Warriors in scoring. He tallied 82 goals and posted a .500 shooting percentage this year and also added 14 assists. In addition, Allyn led the Warriors with 47 steals and also added eight field blocks.

Bellingham and Ruth were each named to the All-SCC Second Team in their first years as Warriors. Bellingham was the team's starting goalie, playing in 24 matches and starting in 21 of them. He had a .390 save percentage while recording 189 total saves on the year. He also added 10 assists and 27 steals.

Ruth played in 23 matches, making 22 starts. He was third on the team with 27 goals and led the squad with 28 assists on the season. His 29 steals were good for third on the team and his 12 field blocks ranked second.

The Warriors finished the year with a 5-22 overall record and advanced to the fifth-place final against Chaffey before falling, 10-8.
