TORRANCE, Calif. --- El Camino College suffered a 3-0 (25-20, 25-17, 25-15) loss to visiting Moorpark on Wednesday night at the ECC Gym Complex.
The Warriors got nine kills from Garrett Gronbach on a .421 attack percentage while Edan Musick and Jacob Flanagan combined for 23 assists but it was not enough as the visiting Raiders attacked at a .333 clip for the match.
Taylor Phipps hammered down 11 kills and Kaipono Benson added 10 kills in the win while Merit Ghodrat dished out 28 assists with seven digs in the win for Moorpark.
The Warriors will return to action on Friday night against Long Beach with first serve set for 6 p.m.
