TORRANCE, Calif. --- El Camino College suffered a 3-1 (24-26, 25-22, 25-23, 25-18) Western State Conference loss to Moorpark on Wednesday night at the ECC Gym Complex.
The Warriors (3-5, 1-2) dropped their second straight conference match after taking an early lead against the Raiders (5-4, 1-2).
The Warriors never hit better than .176 in a set and committed 28 attacking errors and 15 service errors.
Jake Suson led the team with 15 kills with Mark Antonov and Kasra Alipour each adding 11 kills in the loss.
For the Raiders, Sean Schmutz led the way with 11 kills and Eddy He dished out 42 assists in the victory.
The Warriors will return to action on Friday night with a road contest at Santa Monica. First serve is set for 6 p.m.
