Men’s Volleyball Season Comes to an End at Irvine Valley

El Camino College could never get anything going offensively as the 2018 season came to an end at Irvine Valley with a 3-0 (25-19, 25-23, 25-19) loss Friday night in the CCCAA Men's Volleyball State Championships Quarterfinals.

The Warriors were once again led by Matthew Donatucci, but the team's best offensive player on the season managed just 10 kills and was the only Warriors player to record double figures. He attacked at a .333 percentage but it was not enough to lift the Warriors to their third State Championships appearance in the last four years.

Joseph Sico added a double-double with 30 assists and 11 digs to go along with two blocks in the losing effort.

The Warriors finished off the season with a 10-7 overall record and 3-3 mark in conference.
