Men's Volleyball Comes Up Short to Orange Coast College in CCCAA State Finals

WOODLAND HILLS, Calif. - The No. 7 Warriors (12-8) fought hard against No. 1 Orange Coast College (21-1) in the CCCAA State Finals but fell to the Pirates 3-0. Despite valiant effort on behalf of El Camino, Orange Coast won all three matches by four points (25-21, 25-21, 25-21).

Warriors Head to State Finals After Sweeping Long Beach City 3-0

WOODLAND HILLS, Calif. - With a stellar 3-0 sweep over Long Beach City College (16-4, 6-0) in the CCCAA State Semifinals, the No. 7 Warriors (12-7, 4-2) are headed to their 4th State Final. The Vikings were looking to defend their State Champion title, riding a 13-game winning streak but the Warriors upset Long Beach in three sets for the victory (26-24, 25-17, 25-19).

Warriors Comeback Bid Falls Short Against No. 3 Long Beach City

TORRANCE, Calif. – Down two sets and halfway to defeat in the third, No. 4 El Camino College stormed back to force a fifth set and erased five set points but it was not enough as the Warriors fell to No. 3 Long Beach City College 3-2 (25-23, 25-19, 23-25, 21-25, 15-13) Friday night at the ECC South Gym.

Medina, Campos Lead No. 7 Warriors to Road Win at No. 4 Santa Monica

SANTA MONICA, Calif. – Sophomores Cesar Medina and Pedro Campos each logged double-doubles Friday night as No. 7 El Camino College took down No. 4 Santa Monica 3-1 (17-25, 25-21, 25-11, 25-22) on the road in a Western State Conference-South Division match.
