Hossain, Waldiya Stay Hot as Warriors Play Two at Imperial Valley

IMPERIAL VALLEY, Calif. --- El Camino College' top pairs team of Shubham Waldiya and Tarik Hossain continued to perform well on the season as the Warriors played two Inland Empire Athletic Conference matches at Imperial Valley on Tuesday.

MATCH ONE: IVC 5, ECC 3

The Warriors' top duo dominated on court one, defeating IVC's duo 8-1. Waldiya and Hossain also scored victories in singles' action but IVC managed to pull out the win thanks to a walkover win on court six in both singles and doubles along with three other wins in singles action.

MATCH TWO: IVC 5, ECC 2

The Warriors got another victory from Waldiya and Hossain in doubles action, again by a score of 8-1. On the season, the Warriors' top duo is 8-2 with only one loss in conference play. Waldiya also scored a win in singles play but Hossain's match was left unfinished along with the No. 3 court going incomplete as IVC secured the fifth and decisive point before those games could be completed.

The Warriors will return to action on Thursday, March 20 with a road match at San Diego City.
