Burrell Participates in Sophomore Showcase

Midfielder Brian Burrell participated in the Sophomore Showcase this past weekend, representing the El Camino College men's soccer team.

"Brian had a solid sophomore campaign and deserved the selection," said Warriors head coach Mike Jacobson. "Any four-year school will be happy to have Brian and we will continue to monitor Brian's progress during his offseason and help him move on. It's a part of what this program will do for our players."

Burrell played in 16 matches for the Warriors in 2018, starting in 15 of them. He scored one goal and added three assists as he helped lead the Warriors to a 7-7-6 overall record and a third-place finish in the South Coast Conference, South Division. It was the most wins for the Warriors since they won nine games in 2014 en route to a conference title.
